Dr. Ferrari is a bioengineer that specializes in cardiovascular research and innovation. She received a Master’s degree in Biomedical Device Design and Innovation at the University of Rochester before completing her Doctoral Dissertation at the University of Colorado, where she identified new hemodynamic biomarkers for early detection of cardiovascular decline in the single ventricle heart defect population. She was personally awarded several Predoctoral Fellowships, most notably from The American Heart Association and The Children’s Heart Foundation. She joined SafeBeat in 2023 as a Postdoctoral Scientist and led the research department to multiple invited presentations at internationally recognized scientific conferences, in addition to being awarded an NIH NHLBI Diversity in SBIR Postdoctoral Fellowship. She now serves as the Director of Research & Clinical Operations at SafeBeat, where she leads our ongoing clinical studies at UCSF and Boston’s Massachusetts General Hospital, in addition to directing the company’s commercial pilot program.
