Hangliang (Harry) Ren

Software Engineer Summer 2026 Intern (Northeastern University)

Hangliang (Harry) Ren is a software engineer specializing in AI systems and full-stack development. He has published research at EMNLP, CVPR, and IEEE, with work spanning multimodal agents, reinforcement learning, and computer vision for medical imaging. Most recently, Harry built the agentic automation platform at UniteGPS that unified RAG search and SQL-driven actions to streamline K-12 fleet operations, cutting task latency by over 85%. He previously developed star-tracking software for small satellites at the University of Washington’s Husky Satellite Lab. Harry holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Northeastern University and a B.S. in Applied and Computational Mathematics from the University of Washington.
